- You can change suppliers once each billing cycle. However, suppliers may charge a fee to terminate a contract early. Check with your current supplier before making any changes.

- What is a transportation contract account?
- Customers new to the transportation program are assigned a contract account used to bill certain administrative and other charges not billed at the (premises) account level. A premises account shows consumption by meter and other charges, such as customer service charges, distribution charges and standby demand charges. A contract account does not.

- How will I know how much gas my telemetered customers used?
- PEGASys®, North Shore Gas' transportation management software, has a variety of management tools and reports that display usage information. The usage information can be viewed in aggregate or down to the meter level.

- When can customers begin transportation service?
- Customers new to any of the transportation programs can start service at any time during the year. Customers who wish to return to transportation service generally have to wait twelve (12) months before returning to the program.
