What is paper-free billing?
Paper-free billing is an electronic billing option that eliminates your paper bills altogether. Bills are electronically created and displayed online and in the North Shore Gas app. You can view, save or print if you’d like. It is safe, convenient, and offers you the flexibility to manage your bills at any time and from anywhere.

How does paper-free billing work?
After you've enrolled, your bills will be created and displayed online. You will no longer receive a paper bill. You'll then receive email notifications when your bill is available online. You'll need to log in to our secure website with your email address and password. If you wish to make your payment online, the payments are processed on the date that you specify.

How do I sign up?
Signing up is simple, just select your preference within My Account. If you haven’t already, you’ll need to register for online access to sign up for paper-free billing. You also can sign up in the North Shore Gas app.

How much will this program cost me?
Paper-free billing is FREE.

Will I still receive your monthly bill inserts and Customer Connection?
Yes, a link to your monthly inserts is included at the top of your electronic bill.

Do I need to back up my billing and payment information on my computer?
No. Your electronic bills are available to view online for up to 24 months.

What if I'm not receiving my email notifications?
Sign in and verify your email address by visiting update profile. If correct, your email provider may be blocking our email. Check your spam, bulk or junk folder for email from noreply@northshoregasdelivery.com.

If you use a spam blocking email service, include our email address as an acceptable sender to receive notification messages.

I have a new email address. What do I need to do?
You can change your email address by visiting the update profile page so you continue to receive notification messages.

What if I have multiple accounts?
If you have multiple accounts, you will need to sign each account up separately for paper-free billing. You'll receive an email reminder each month for each account enrolled in e-Bill.

How do I change or cancel paper-free billing?
Update your notification preferences and change your billing option from paper-free to paper at any time.

Am I eligible for paper-free billing?
The majority of residential, farm and business accounts are eligible. You'll be notified at enrollment if you aren't eligible.

Can I continue to pay my bill using Automatic Payment?
Yes. You can use Automatic Payment in conjunction with paper-free billing. Using both options, you can view your bill online, and the payment is automatically withdrawn from your bank account each month as usual.

When can I start paying my electronic bill?
You can schedule a payment the same day you enroll. No need to wait for your first bill.
